On April 4, 2000 the voters of Cherry Hills Village spoke, and their message was clear:

Doug Tisdale was to be their “Voice at Village Hall” for the next four years!

“I want to thank each and every person who supported my campaign, and every person who voted for me,” said Councilmember Doug after the election.

“And I intend to convince those who didn’t vote for me that they should have,” he promised.

Doug enjoyed a margin of victory or “spread” that was greater than fifteen per cent! He was officially sworn into office on April 10, 2000 and his present term will last through April of 2004.
